State-of-the-art Wire & Cable Software developer from Germany presents “ADVARIS Cable”, the integrated modular solution for length-based manufacturers, at the leading USA Trade Fair.
From May 9-11 2017, ADVARIS Informationssysteme GmbH will be presenting its operations management system “ADVARIS Cable” at the Interwire in Atlanta, USA. Over the past few years the software solutions developed in Bruchsal, Germany have become a standard for the length-based manufacturing industry throughout the world. In fact, as a part of its cross-group switchover to SAP’s ERP system, US cable manufacturer Southwire has decided to install ADVARIS Cable MES. Southwire has now implemented the manufacturing execution system by ADVARIS in several of its US plants.
The ADVARIS Cable Solution supports and interlinks all aspects of operation, especially design, manufacturing, quality assurance, plant maintenance, materials management, logistics and sales. The heart of the system is a mature, high-performance Manufacturing Execution System (MES) perfectly attuned to the special requirements of wire and cable manufacturing.
“Requirements in the length-based manufacturing industry are becoming continually higher, and there is an increasing need to react fast and cost-effectively to an ongoing situation. This makes it essential to have an operations management system which records and analyzes data reliably in real-time”, Manfred Moser continues. Describing his own system, the ADVARIS CEO speaks of “transparency at the touch of a button”, referring to the real time monitoring of production, quality and maintenance data. The individual ADVARIS modules can be seamlessly integrated with existing ERP system, such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
